William Sasser is the owner of Sasser’s Guide Service, LLC. He has fished Clark’s Hill (Lake Thurmond) since he was a young boy in the 1960’s. He is a licensed and insured United States Coast Guard Captain.

William specializes in live bait fishing for crappies, stripers, and hybrids year round on Clarks Hill Lake, but will accommodate to whatever fishing you want to do.

William and his wife Donna started the fishing guide service in the early spring of 2006. They had no idea of the amount of fishing trips they would fish their first year in business and the phone calls started and by the end of the year they had fished over 150 trips.

William in his first year has been featured in the Georgia Outdoor
News Magazine, wrote six (6) Clarks Hill Fishing Reports for GON, asked to fish on two television shows and writes a weekly fishing report for the Augusta Chronicle with Bill Baab. He also had the privilege of fishing with P.J. Perea of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
